Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW: A Telesales Consultant interacts with customers and acts as a liaison between customers and companies by providing information to address inquiries regarding their Telecommunications products and services.

Responsibilities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promotes the company’s products and services through inbound/outbound calls within the set Service Level Timeframes
  • Assists customers with their requests, orders, and inquiries
  • Communicates well with customers and listens intently to help them convey their needs
  • Ensure all client enquiries are recorded into the system, confirming all contact details of the enquirer with 100% accuracy
  • Supply customers with correct information and resolutions for all Service Requests relating to their telephone, mobile and/or broadband services
  • Provide well-rounded, prompt, high-quality, and professional client service at all times
  • Perform call-backs to key customers to ensure that they are happy with the telephone, wireless and/or broadband service and product received and investigate any arising sales/support opportunities as needed
  • Deal with all calls and enquiries politely, courteously, professionally and assertively
  • Meet Daily & Monthly work load targets in accordance with KPI’s
  • Attend all training as directed to allow a good understanding of the product range available to the Business
  • Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications / Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least two years of college or a Bachelor’s/College Degree
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in telesales and telemarketing, in particular in the financial service and insurance fields
  • Previous Telco experience is required
  • Must be deeply knowledgeable with the different standard Telco products and services
  • Experience in a fast paced/high work volume sales and/or support roles
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to use own initiative
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • A warm yet professional phone manner with a genuine customer service focus
  • The capability for finding and fixing problems, including thinking creatively to solve problems
  • A focus on following a process and remaining compliant
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Experience selling the following TELSTRA BUSINESS products is a definite advantage
    • DOT On Copper/NBN (highly desirable)
    • BizEssentials
    • Business Mobility and TMB and/or
    • Corporate pricing plans
  • Amenable to work in Bonifacio Global City, Monday – Friday in an early morning schedule (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
